Job Summary:

As a DMV Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and excellent customer service to individuals seeking various vehicle and driver-related services at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with vehicle registration, driver's license applications, and other related transactions.
- Verify and process required documentation for vehicle registrations and driver's licenses.
- Collect and process fees for services provided.
- Schedule appointments for driver's license tests and other services.
- Provide accurate information and guidance to customers regarding DMV procedures and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and files for each transaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve disputes or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other DMV staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Stay updated on changes in DMV policies and regulations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred.
- Knowledge of DMV procedures and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.
